Mckenzie Henry1  Mackenzie Henry, soprano
Soprano, Mackenzie Henry, will be playing the role of Vera Boronel in Menotti’s The Consul. A northeast Ohio native, Mackenzie attends Kent State University, pursuing a Bachelors in Vocal Performance. She is a junior studying with tenor, Timothy Culver. Mackenzie was last seen on stage as  Véronique in Bizet’s The Doctor Miracle and as 3rd Lady in Kent State University’s production of The Magic Flute. This past summer, she covered the the role of Alma March in Nightingale Opera Theatre’s Little Women. She was also part of the ensemble for La bohème with Cleveland Opera Theatre. Mackenzie also sings with the Kent State Women’s Chorus, and has performed as a soloist with the Kent Chorus for Handel’s Messiah. This summer, she will be covering the role of Vera Boronel in Nightingale Opera Theatre’s production of The Consul. Mackenzie would like to thank her family, friends, and voice teacher, Tim Culver, for their endless support and encouragement.
